This is where our journey begins for the first book .

The second book will highlight some of the people in the first book as well as giving Expats. Residents and visitors views on the 3 countries he has lived in France, Spain & Portugal, along with some golfing and other travel experiences worldwide.

This is my second wife Phyllis her husband a Breton had died 12 months earlier.

My wife Janet of 50 Years marriage died several years after contracting the legionnaires disease.

Gordon hopes you will enjoy his book which has a fascinating account of much more than cycling world wide with may funny stories & a glimpse into his 70 years cycling

The history of which needs not to be forgotten and inspired him to write this book so it would not be.

This was made possible by the time spent riding alone in Portugal during the Covid epidemic giving him the inspiration to write this book.

After each outing he wrote down what he had been thinking about , 6 months later on his return to France he used WORD on his computer to fine tune his writings, before finally deciding the order they were to apear in the book.

The SPR Self-Publishing Review

July 2025 Finally the proofwriting has been redone and the Nuts & Bolts section, which highlights the documents and material that the author possessed, is in its rightfull place at the beggining where it belongs. A reprint is now available although some suppliers may still have the old copy.
