After some good reviews but some justifiably critical of the proof reading and lack of editing, commented on by BookLife in Publishers Weekly and IndieReader both in the USA. The proof-reading has been redone and a reprint of the book is now available.
The Nuts & Bolts section which explains the sources available when I wrote the book is now where i had intended it to be at the front of the book, the index being now at the back. Mostly I wrote from memory, the magazines and programs I had available are shown in the attached photographs of the covers.
At one time, I did have a log book of the prize money I had earned recording the finishing results for my time in Brittany. A necessary check of verification to make sure you received your entitlement. A few years ago, when I was clearing this out, I came across these records, when looking at the money involved, I was disgusted with how little this was and threw them away.
I was 82 when I started to write the book so you will understnd if ones memory is not perfect at this age.
